Every October, healthcare organizations worldwide observe Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Awareness Month, with World Thrombosis Day marked on October 13. The initiative aims to raise awareness about thrombosis (blood clots) — including DVT in the legs and Pulmonary Embolism (PE) in the lungs — by educating communities on risk factors, symptoms, prevention, and treatment of these serious conditions.

In support of this global cause, the Cardinal Health Speciality Unit – Gulf Drug team successfully conducted a comprehensive clinical education campaign, training nearly 1,000 healthcare professionals across various hospitals in the UAE on the importance of effective DVT management.

This impactful program was led by Mr. Sunil Pillai, Sales Manager – Cardinal Health Speciality Unit, along with his dedicated team members Mr. Anoop K, Mr. Mohammad Al Safty, Mr. Rohit, Mr. Nishad, Mr. Aneesh, and Mr. Faseem.
