Launch of the G.R.O.W. Program: A Successful First Step

 

Gulf Drug’s Emiratisation Department proudly introduced the G.R.O.W. Program (Growth – Reflection – Opportunities – Will Power), a development initiative designed to empower employees to Grow, Reflect, Own, and Win in their personal and professional journeys. This initiative reflects our commitment to continuous learning and creating opportunities for growth at every stage of a career.

The program was launched with its first session, “The Leadership Mindset: Inspire, Influence, Impact” delivered by Fatma AlHammadi, Head of Emiratisation. The session was a great success, receiving enthusiastic participation and highly positive survey responses from attendees.

Participants shared that they especially enjoyed the interactive activities, teamwork, real-life scenarios, and meaningful reflections. Many highlighted how “each word said carried big meaning and value” while others noted the motivation they felt from colleagues and the supportive team spirit in the room.

When asked about the most valuable skills gained, responses included effective communication, leadership qualities, teamwork, problem-solving, consistency, and self-determination. Others mentioned inspiration to grow, understanding when to take initiative, and learning how to overcome challenges as key takeaways.

This successful beginning marks only the start. The G.R.O.W. Program will continue with more engaging and insightful sessions, each designed to develop key skills, broaden perspectives, and foster a culture of leadership and growth across the company.
