Medical Insurance

We are pleased to advise you that we have successfully renewed our Group Medical Insurance Coverage for the Policy Year 2025–2026. The Group Medical Insurance Plan remains with Qatar Insurance Company (QIC), with NAS as the Third-Party Administrator (TPA).

Kindly refer to the information and User Guides below to access and make use of your medical insurance coverage.

  1. myNAS Application

As part of our Go Green and Go Digital initiative, you will no longer require a physical medical insurance card when visiting medical facilities and seeking treatment within your network coverage.

Your Emirates ID can be used, as it is linked to your health insurance card. Alternatively, you may use your E-card through the myNAS mobile application.

Please follow the instructions in the User Guide. If you are unable to access the myNAS App, kindly call 800 2311 to reset your credentials.

Through the myNAS App, you can:

1a. Access your medical insurance card and policy details, including your Schedule of Benefits.

1b. Search for clinics and hospitals covered under your assigned network.

1c. Download your network provider list.

1d. Track your medical pre-approval requests.

  1. Reimbursement Claim

All reimbursement claims must be submitted through the myNAS App with the complete requirements listed below:

  • Completed claim form
  • Invoice for the service(s)
  • Proof of payment (e.g., credit card slip/SOA)
  • Itemized breakdown of services with corresponding amounts
  • Discharge summary (for inpatient treatment)
  • Laboratory report(s), if applicable
  • Prescription for purchased medication, if applicable

Kindly note that all claims must be submitted within 90 days from the date of treatment.

  1. Responsible Use of Medical Insurance

Please consider the following for the responsible use of your medical insurance:

  • Use TruDoc for minor illnesses and medical advice.
  • Visit clinics for routine consultations and non-complex medical conditions.
  • Reserve hospitals and Emergency Rooms for genuine emergencies and serious medical conditions.
  • Follow the required referral procedures and your doctor’s advice.
  • Avoid unnecessary tests, scans, and medications.
  • Take medications as prescribed and refill them only when needed.
  • Manage chronic conditions proactively through the NAS Chronic Management Program.
  • Request prior approval for elective treatments and inpatient admissions. In case of an emergency outside the network or outside the country, please notify the insurer/TPA within 24 hours.
  • Consider obtaining a second medical opinion for high-cost or complex treatments before proceeding, where appropriate and when offered by the insurer.
